Miley Cyrus Adds A Feminist Twist To The Holiday Classic ‘Santa Baby’
Miley Cyrus can’t stop and won’t stop until the sexist lyrics to the classic holiday song “Santa Baby” are revised!
The 26-year-old singer asked Jimmy Fallon if she could rework the tune on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” on Thursday night.

When Jimmy asked the “Party In The U.S.A.” hitmaker if she was ready for the “Santa Baby” sketch, she responded, “I think I might need to change a few of these lyrics. Are you cool with that?”
She goes on to point out the more disturbing and sexist lines in the age-old song.
“Do you even know what that is,” she asks Jimmy about the “sable” that Santa will be slipping under the tree.
“It’s a fur and I’m vegan,” she asserts.
“Plus,” she adds, “Am I saying that I’m going to hook up with Santa if he buys me all this stuff?”
Once the sketch begins, Miley applies her quick revisions as she sings.
“Santa Baby, I don’t need any fancy jewelry, not me!”

She sang while also confirming that she doesn’t want diamonds, cash, or anything that comes in a box – because she can buy her own damn stuff!
Jimmy and Mark Ronson appear in the sketch, looking puzzled as Miley denies all of their lavish gifts.
The “Nothing Breaks Like A Heart” singer drives her point home by requesting equal pay, no more sexual harassment in the workplace, and even for “Santa” to avoid sending d**k pics — before she is cut off by an appropriately placed phone ring!
“So, put away your chimney tonight,” she concludes.
We are definitely into the new “Santa Baby,” 2018 edition!
