GQ Features Five Different ‘Men Of The Year’ Covers, Including… A Woman
It’s that time of year when the glossy newsstand magazines proclaim their reigning public figures in various categories — People has their “Sexiest Man Alive” and Time has their “Person of the Year,” and for GQ (Gentlemen’s Quarterly), that means their annual “Men of the Year” issue… which this year, includes a woman!
Four lucky men – hip hop artist Drake (“Breakout of the Year”), Academy Award Best Actor winner Jeff Bridges (“Icon of the Year”), TV comedian Stephen Colbert (“Patriot of the Year”), and likely future Academy Award nominee James Franco (“Leading Man of the Year”), share this year’s honor, but they’re not alone. Also joining them is Scarlett Johansson, whom the magazine has crowned 2010’s “Babe of the Year.”
The five honorees were photographed for the mag by Inez van Lamsweerde & Vinoodh Matadin.
GQ’S 2010 “Men of the Year” issue is available on newsstands nationwide, November 23.
