Ann Curry Hassles The ‘Hoff

One month ago, David Hasselhoff made jaws drop when he turned up in a drunken video. This morning, he faced off with Ann Curry on live TV.

“If you have a problem you should deal with it, whatever it is,” Hasslehoff told Ann Curry on the “Today” show, after being asked about his now famous fiasco.

“What helped you deal with it,” Ann asked.

“What helped me deal with it,” David said tersely.

This morning’s interview appeared contentious as Hasselhoff got grilled. When asked about his current custody battle for his two daughters, he quickly tried to change the subject.

“We are still in court and I respect the judge and the judge said please don’t talk about any of this until we get the orders done, so let’s not talk about that, let’s talk about alcoholism,” he stated.

The ‘Hoff was visibly uncomfortable throughout the five minute segment, looking at his nails continually, crossing and uncrossing his legs, adjusting his suit jacket and scratching at his leg. Then came this:

“We have to leave because we are out of time but David, get well,” Anne said as she tried to wrap up the segment.

“Uh oh. My God honey, I am well and watch ‘America’s Got Talent,’ because that’s why I came on the show – to talk about that.”

Before the interview ended Hasselhoff proved how much le loves being a judge on the show.

“This year, even though the talent so far has been horrific except for a few acts, it’s very, very entertaining,” he said.

From dog’s that do tricks, to kid comics a tap dancing drummer and more, TV’s most bizarre talent show “America’s Got Talent,” returns tonight on NBC.

The always honest Sharon Osbourne replaces Brandy this season and she’s doing it for the rewards. When asked why she was heading back to TV, Sharon replied honestly.

“The money,” she told Access Hollywood. “Do you want me to lie?”

And who better to oversee this entire circus than Jerry Springer who replaces Regis Philbin.

“The reason they chose me as the host of ‘America’s Got Talent’ is because next to me everyone looks like they have talent,” he joked to our cameras. “No, here’s my talent, OK, you ready? I’m serious about this.”

“I can move my nostrils,” Jerry surprised us with. “Thank you! Thank you very much.”
