Carrie Underwood & Steven Tyler To Duet at ACM Awards On Sunday
Former “American Idol” Carrie Underwood will perform with current “Idol” judge Steven Tyler at Sunday’s 46th Academy of Country Music Awards on Sunday, Access Hollywood has learned.
A rep for the country music show confirmed the performance news to Access on Sunday.
No details were immediately available on which song the two planned to sing.
Carrie recently praised Steven, who joined the “Idol” judging panel this season.
“I learned about a softer side to Steven Tyler that I never knew existed,” she told Access, at the premiere of her first feature film, “Soul Surfer,” in Los Angeles on Wednesday. “You always think of this like, rocker macho guy and he’s really, really got this big heart for these kids.”
Jennifer Nettles of country supergroup Sugarland is also scheduled to perform with pop superstar Rihanna, CBS, the network airing the awards, previously announced.
The ACMs will air live on CBS starting at 8 PM ET.
