Ansel Elgort Responds To Gay Rumors: ‘I Like Girls. A Lot’

Ansel Elgort has declared that he’s into the ladies – like “a lot” into them!

“Just in case it isn’t clear… I like girls. A lot,” the “The Fault in Our Stars” star Tweeted to his 2.3 million followers on Wednesday night.

The 20-year-old, who split from high school girlfriend Violetta Komyshan in August, also addressed how he would publicly handle his personal life if he was into guys.

“Also let me say if I was gay I wouldn’t hide it. Being gay or straight isn’t bad or good it just IS. U are who you are. Be true to yourself,” he wrote in another Tweet.

No word on which online claim or possible speculation on social media prompted the actor – who also appeared in “Divergent” and will be seen in the upcoming “Insurgent” – to publicly clarify his sexuality.
