In the new 2 minute and 30 second clip, producers offer some major hints from “SATC2” and snippets of the cameo from John Corbett, who plays Aidan Shaw, Carrie Bradshaw’s (Sarah Jessica Parker) second big love interest in the series.
“This is the best mirage I’ve ever had,” Aidan says as he sees Carrie in the Middle East.
The scene with Aidan comes after an earlier reveal in the trailer that there is trouble in paradise for Carrie and her husband, Mr. Big (Chris Noth).
“Big and I are getting a little too ‘Mr. & Mrs. Married.’ We have to work on the sparkle,” Carrie says in the clip.
The trailer also features some of the first shots of Penelope Cruz’s cameo (she’s in a scene with Mr. Big), the wedding between Stanford (Willie Garson) and Anthony (Mario Cantone), which features a cameo from Liza Minnelli, and Samantha’s new love interest played by actor Max Ryan.
And in related “SATC2” news, the first review of the upcoming film has come in – from Matthew Broderick, husband of SJP.
In keeping up with the spirit of not revealing anything prior to the film’s release, Matthew told People simply, that he enjoyed the film.
“I’ve actually seen the movie, and it’s wonderful,” he told the mag. “But if I were to say anything about it, I think a shot would ring out and I would collapse right here on the red carpet.”
“Sex and The City 2” hits theaters on May 27, 2010.
