Kim Zolciak Home After ‘Mini Stroke’: ‘I Hope This Will Not Be The End’ Of ‘DWTS’

Kim Zolciak is still keeping an eye on the mirrorball trophy while recuperating from her recent health scare.

The “Dancing with the Stars” contestant was released from the hospital on Friday after suffering a “mini stroke” on Sept. 23, and has continued her recovery in the hopes she’ll return to ABC’s hit reality competition.

“I want to thank everyone for their love and support over the past few days. I am now home with my family, resting and taking care of my health,” Kim said in a statement released to Access Hollywood on Sunday.

On Thursday, the mom of six shared an Instagram selfie from her hospital bed and explained what happened.

“The left side of my body went completely numb and my speech was gone,” Kim wrote, telling followers that she had been diagnosed with a transient ischemic attack.

The “Real Housewives of Atlanta” alum went on to say she had regained “100%” of her feeling, and thanked her family, including husband Kroy Biermann and daughter Brielle, for their “quick reactions.”

Kim also gave a shout-out to her “DWTS” partner, Tony Dovolani, for his support.

“He even brings me my favorite coffee,” she added. “Although he is always dancing around the room lol he keeps me smiling!”
