Ratings Scoreboard: ‘Grey’s’ Tops Weekly Ratings (October 24, 2006)

CBS wins the week once again as we fire up today’s Access Ratings Scoreboard.

The Eye Net was last week’s most watched network with an average of 12.6 million viewers, the first two games of The World Series helped FOX take second and ABC stayed strong in third. “Grey’s Anatomy” was the week’s most watched show with 22.1 million tuning in. “Dancing with the Stars” landed in second pushing “CSI” down to third.

Here are the top five shows for the week ending October 22nd:

1. Grey’s Anatomy (ABC)22.1 million viewers
2. Dancing with the Stars (ABC)21.3 million viewers
3. CSI (CBS)20.5 million viewers
4. Desperate Housewives (ABC)19.7 million viewers
5. Dancing with the Stars – results show (ABC)19.2 million viewers

CBS also won Monday night with an average of 13.4 million viewers followed by NBC and Fox. “CSI: Miami” was Monday’s most watched show, “Deal or No Deal” was second and “Two and a Half Men” finished third. “Heroes” was up from last week with 14.4 million people watching but that audience didn’t stick around for “Studio 60,” which brought in 7.7 million.

On cable, Friday’s premiere of “Return to Halloweentown” on the Disney Channel drew a huge 7.5 million mouseketeers. The fourth installment of the popular franchise beat ABC, FOX and The CW in overall viewership.

3. Two and a Half Men (CBS)15 million viewers
