50 Cent Settles Lawsuit Over Mansion Repairs
Rapper 50 Cent has settled his lawsuit against an engineering firm over repairs and renovations to a Connecticut mansion he bought from Mike Tyson.
Linda Cohn, a deputy chief clerk at Hartford Superior Court, confirmed the settlement Friday. Details are not immediately available.
The rapper testified this week that he never would have bought the 48,000-square-foot home in Farmington had he known it would require millions of dollars in repairs and renovations.
50 Cent hired BVH Integrated Services to inspect the mansion in 2003 before he bought it. Its estimate for upgrades was about $500,000. The rapper says he spent $6 million.
BVH denies wrongdoing. Messages were left for lawyers for the entertainer and the company.
