The premiere date for the “The X-Files” is out there!

Fox has announced that the six-episode event series will premiere on Sunday, January 24, at 10 PM.

As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, Creator/Executive Producer Chris Carter is also back for the series’ short run return.

“I think of it as a 13-year commercial break,” the EP said in a statement in March. “The good news is the world has only gotten that much stranger, a perfect time to tell these six stories.”

The original series ran 1993-2002.
