Justin Bieber Writes Book To Set The Record Straight
Justin Bieber is only 16, but he’s already penned his first book – which he hopes sets the record straight on his life.
“So, the reason I decided to write this book at such a young age is because there is so much stuff on the Internet that is misconstrued and a lot of people have [written] stuff about me and it’s just not right,” at an appearance for his new book, “Justin Bieber: First Step 2 Forever: My Story,” in Los Angeles on Sunday.
“I wanted something [with] my own words… to describe what I’m going through and describe how I got here,” he continued. “I want people to look up to me, I want people to say, ‘You know, I look up to you.’”
The Canadian singing sensation also said his fans might be surprised to find more than a few laughs in his teen tome.
“The humor in it, [it’s] just funny, it’s fun,” he explained. “There [are] so many surprises in here that you’re just going to be like, ‘What?’ and a lot of things people don’t know about me.”
Despite his superstar status, Justin told Access he’s still shocked by his overzealous fans.
“I’m not even that cool, like seriously… what is so cool like that you freak out?” the singer said when asked about Biebs diehards. “These girls crying, it’s like I can’t believe that, I’m so honored that you’re crying but, I don’t know, it’s crazy to me!”
Access also caught up with Justin at the premiere of “Megamind” over the weekend – check out the interview, HERE!
