‘The Bachelorette’: Who Did Kaitlyn Choose?

“The Bachelorette,” Kaitlyn, has chosen between Nick and Shawn.

Kaitlyn said goodbye to Nick and “Yes!” to Shawn.

“I fall more and more in love with you every time I see you, and l look at you and I see a best friend, a partner in crime, my teammate, the love of my life. You have already made me the happiest guy in the world and all I want to do is make you the happiest girl in the world,” Shawn said in his romantic speech. “I love you so much, Kaitlyn.”

And Kaitlyn promised to be Shawn’s.

“I am completely yours and I will always be faithful to you and I have been waiting so long to tell you how I feel because I love you with all of my heart like I’ve never loved anybody before, and I can’t wait to make a lifetime of memories with you and only you because you are the one and you always will be,” she said.

Shawn then proposed and Kaitlyn said yes.

But, earlier in the broadcast, turning down Nick was difficult for Kaitlyn, and for Nick.

“I know that we talked about if I didn’t feel this, I would let you know,” Kaitlyn said, when she broke the news to Nick. “I did need every single second that we’ve had together.

“The only single explanation I have is that my heart is just with somebody else,” she added of why he found out at the end of the show.

Nick tried to stop her from explaining more about her decision.

“I’m not trying to be short, I just, I don’t think there’s anything you could say that would make me less confused,” he told Kaitlyn.

“Listen, if you were in love with me, we’d be having a different conversation,” he added.

Before he left in a limo, Nick told Kaitlyn that his feelings for her ran deep.

“What I felt for you was greater than a moment, and you knew how I felt about you and I think that sums it up. It was more than just a moment,” he said.

Later, on “After the Final Rose,” Kaitlyn and Shawn walked out and kissed passionately, confirming – if anyone had any doubts – that they are still together.

“Today was like Christmas morning,” Kaitlyn told host Chris Harrison about being able to take her relationship with Shawn public.

“It’s incredible,” Shawn said of finding romance on “The Bachelorette.”
