Tim Vincent

Tim Vincent is the New York correspondent for Access Hollywood, the daily entertainment newsmagazine currently in its 12th season of providing the most comprehensive coverage of entertainment news and personalities on television. Vincent joined the show in January of 2005, coming to the show after 15 years of broadcasting in the UK.

In addition to his duties at Access Hollywood, Vincent also hosts two primetime shows on the BBC in the UK, “Kitchen Criminals” and “Saturday Night National Lottery.” Vincent also contributes to NBC’s top-rated morning news program “Today,” and has provided commentary on CNN’s “Larry King Live.” Beyond covering the red carpet for some of Hollywood’s most high-profile events, Vincent has traveled the globe to interview some of the biggest stars in music, film and television, including covering Italy’s Venice Film Festival and France’s Cannes Film Festival. Vincent also co-hosted the Miss World pageant in 2005 and 2006, as well as the Miss USA 2007 pageant.

Vincent began his broadcasting career as the youngest-ever presenter on “Blue Peter,” a BAFTA award-winning BBC children’s program. He then moved on for two seasons of BBC 1’s “The Clothes Show,” while simultaneously hosting three seasons of the network’s BAFTA award-winning show, “Short Change.” In 2000, Vincent played an integral part of BBC 1’s coverage of the Millennium New Year, hosting 36 hours of live television coverage from Wales to a worldwide audience. In 2007, Vincent stepped in for Meredith Vieira to host a week of “Who Wants To Be A Millionaire” and also appeared in a special challenge episode of the We TV hit, “American Princess.”

From 2003-2004, Vincent hosted Sky One’s smash hit “There’s Something About Miriam,” while also serving as host on Living TV’s debut show, “I’m Famous and Frightened,” which was one of the channel’s highest-rated shows. Prior to joining Access Hollywood, he served as co-host of Access Hollywood UK, NBC’s British version of the show.

Vincent is a native of Wrexham, Wales, and currently resides in New York.
